On December 31, 2023, the Internal Revenue Service issued the 2024 optional standard mileage rate used to calculate the deductible costs of operating an automobile for business purposes. That rate is 67 cents per mile for business miles driven. Currently, P-H-M School Corporation elects to reimburse mileage for 2024 at the IRS optional standard rate of 67 cents per mile.
