Community Open Swim at the Penn High School Pool is available to P-H-M students and their families, and community members who live within the school district’s boundaries. P-H-M staff may also participate, regardless of residency.
TCU Freed Field Summer Construction will take place March 5 - end of July:
Due to construction starting, Open Swim parking is only permitted outside Door D. Also, use Door D for access to and from the pool.
- Starting March 5 parking will not be allowed along the back drive on the east side towards the Penn football practice field. This will continue through the end of July. These parking spaces will be designated CONSTRUCTION PARKING ONLY from 6 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Children must be completely potty trained (no swim diapers are allowed) AND must also be at least 4-years-old.
Lifeguards are on duty but parents must supervise their children. Children in grades 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Swimmers should bring a towel and locker padlock. (P-H-M is not responsible for lost or stolen items.)

Note that Open Swim does not take place on school recess days & holidays. Recess days and holidays are listed on the P-H-M 2017-18 calendar. If school closing is announced due to weather, the Penn Pool/Community Open Swim will also be closed.
- Effective July 24, 2017, Community Members are no longer charged a fee.
