Most employees of Penn Harris Madison School Corporation are eligible for state retirement plans, including the Teachers’ Retirement Fund (TRF) for teachers and the Public Employees’ Retirement Fund (PERF) for other public employees. Please click on the links below for more information.
Teacher Retirement Fund (TRF)
The Teachers’ Retirement Fund (TRF) was created by the Indiana General Assembly in 1921. Members of TRF include teachers in a public school corporation. The purpose of TRF is to provide retirement income for the exclusive benefit of eligible employees of participating employers and their designated beneficiaries. Click below to learn more:

Public Employee Retirement (PERF)
The Public Employees’ Retirement Fund (PERF) was created on July 1, 1945, to provide retirement and other benefits for state employees and public employees of state and local government entities (political subdivisions).
