Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation is fortunate to have the PHM Education Foundation (PHMEF) support innovative programs that fall out of the district’s budget through classroom grants that all teachers and staff can apply for.

For the 2025-2026 school year, the Education Foundation awarded more than $73,000 in grants amongst P-H-M’s 15 schools!

As an example of impact … a grant from PHMEF placed 3D printers in all 11 P-H-M elementary schools to print fidget tools for students with ADHD, on the Autism Spectrum, or who just need help concentrating at school. PHMEF sponsors the annual FREE “Books & Bots” event, providing the opportunity for all P-H-M kindergarten through 5th graders the opportunity to interact with a well-known children’s author and participate in a variety of robotic activities.

The Foundation also has a Naming Rights campaign that has helped build PHMEF’s endowment to over a million dollars!

In 2026, the Foundation is celebrating its 30th anniversary. For three decades, PHMEF has steadily expanded its reach and impact within P-H-M putting $1.9 million back into classrooms!
