School bus drivers are the first face of P-H-M students see in the morning and the last ones they see in the afternoon. Our School Bus Drivers take pride in being one of P-H-M’s most valued ambassadors. Their job is rewarding and satisfying!

P-H-M Bus Drivers are the highest paid in St. Joseph County!

Effective on January 1, P-H-M Bus Operators will receive an average increase of 3.7% for 2025 with the following range for regular daily drivers:

Sub Driver $25.25/hr
Unassigned Driver $26.25/hr
Step 1 Route Driver $27.25/hr
Step 2 Route Driver $28.25/hr
Step 3 Route Driver $29.25/hr
Field trips & $20.00/hr
Extracurricular Activities
Additional time allocated for bus maintenance and cleaning
High deductible health plan option with incentives
