Summer Camp Programs affected by Visitation at Penn High School on Thursday, June 18
Posted on June 17, 2015Penn High School will host a public visitation for the family of Nick and Jack Savage on Thursday, June 18, 3:00-8:00 p.m. in the Main Arena. This will have some impact on summer programs and camps scheduled at the High School around this timeframe. Please see details below.
Learn-to-Swim program (Reschduling)
· 1:50 and 2:30 p.m. class are both cancelled for Thursday, June 18
· Makeup class for Thursday’s 1:50 class will be held on Friday, June 19, 1:50-2:50 p.m.
· Makeup class for Thursday’s 2:30 class will be held on Friday, June 19, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
· All other Learn-to-Swim classes will take place as scheduled Thursday in the Penn Pool
Parents are being contacted by phone and at Wednesday’s classes. Questions may be directed to Jenny Forkner, Community Education, (574) 258-9568.
Girls Basketball Camp (Change of Location)
· Grades K-2 will be held at Bittersweet Elementary from 12-1:30 p.m.
· Grades 3rd – 8th camps will be held at Schmucker Middle School at their scheduled times
o Grades 3rd & 4th, 12-1:30 p.m.
o Grades 5th & 6th, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
o Grades 7th & 8th, 3:30-5:30 p.m.

The following programs listed below taking place at the High School that are not affected and will take place as scheduled on Thursday:
· Summer School
· Visual Arts Academy (Grade 2)
· Track Camp (K-4 and 5-8)
· Baseball Camp (K-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-8)
· Media Camp
· Robotics Camp
All parents of these camps listed above, please use your normal pickup and drop-off patterns. If students or parents plan on attending the viewing, please use your normal pickup and drop-off pattern and then pull around to the front of the High School and park in the main lot and enter through Door D.
