For the 2021-22 School Year, Penn-Harris-Madison the Superintendent’s Advisory Council (SAC) will serve as a Steering Committee to further the diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) recommendations made by the SAC at the end of the 2020-21 school year.
The objective of the SAC Steering Committee this year will be to serve in an advisory role regarding the implementation of the district’s DEI goals proposed by the SAC last year. P-H-M values and celebrates diversity and seeks to work on eliminating racial injustices and discrimination within the school district as outlined by the P-H-M Board of School Trustees’ Resolution passed on July 1, 2020 (click here to read).
The SAC Steering Committee will include members of P-H-M’s administration, teachers, staff, parents/guardians, students, as well as the greater community. The application closed on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021. A group of P-H-M administrators will review all applicants; decision notifications will be sent via email by the end of September 2021.
