SAC Steering Committee for DEI

For the 2021-22 School Year, Penn-Harris-Madison the Superintendent’s Advisory Council (SAC) will serve as a Steering Committee to further the diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) recommendations made by the SAC at the end of the 2020-21 school year.

P-H-M values and celebrates diversity and seeks to work on eliminating racial injustices and discrimination within the school district as outlined by the P-H-M Board of School Trustees’ Resolution passed on July 1, 2020 (click here to read).

The objective of the SAC Steering Committee this year is to serve in an advisory role regarding the implementation of the district’s DEI goals. The SAC Steering Committee includes members of P-H-M’s administration, teachers, staff, parents/guardians, students, as well as the greater community. Members provide feedback and are not a decision making body.

The SAC  Steering Committee has concluded for the 2021-2022 School Year. The meeting dates and the presentations for those meetings are listed below. Click the links to view.
